Agreement between Regalgrid® and Alperia: the first smart energy community in South Tyrol is born

On 3 July 2018, at the NOI technology park in Bolzano, Regalgrid Europe signed a strategic agreement with Alperia, one of the largest suppliers of energy services in Italy. From today, users of Alto Adige covered by the Alperia network will have the opportunity to interconnect through the Digital Energy Regalgrid® platform and to benefit from the advanced features that this advanced digital architecture ensures: consumption monitoring, optimization of storage batteries, management in real time of self-produced energy and, within the framework of the European legislation on smart communities, energy sharing between prosumers. The first concrete result of this agreement is the energy smart community (the first in South Tyrol) built within the NOI technology park in Bolzano, also in partnership with Huawei.
